Role Description
TixForGood is seeking a Marketing & Events Intern based in New Jersey (candidate must reside in NJ). This hands-on role supports marketing strategy, social media execution, and live event activations within the nonprofit fundraising space.
The intern will:
Assist with market research and campaign strategy development
Support social media content creation, posting, and engagement
Attend content shoots and assist with capturing photo and video content
Edit short-form video and social content for digital platforms
Help plan and execute promotional events and sweepstakes activations
Attend events to support on-site engagement and assist with donation collection
Engage with customers, donors, and community partners to ensure a positive experience
This position offers real-world experience in nonprofit marketing, experiential campaigns, content creation, and community engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to confidently engage donors and stakeholders
- Interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing
- Basic knowledge of short-form video editing (Reels, TikTok, etc.) is a plus
- Interest in market research and sales support to contribute to data-driven strategies
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and at live events
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (preferred but not required)
