My Client is looking to hire a motivated, detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. Reporting to the Director of Mechanical Engineer, this role I integral to the design, analysis, and performance of complex mechanical systems within mission-critical facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in thermal systems, mechanical infrastructure, and be eager to grow their expertise in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Job Purpose
The Mechanical Engineer is a client facing role requiring the ability to inspire confidence from initial client inquiry to proposal preparation, engineering design and installation and project execution.
The Mechanical Engineer leads all aspects of mechanical systems design in a collaborative high performance team environment to accomplish the successful completion of assigned projects.

KEY FUNCTIONS
1. Develop scopes of work from the feed of business development efforts through design,
engineering, construction & commissioning.
2. Performance engineering design calculations related to cooling loads, airflow,
psychrometrics, hydronic systems, thermal performance, mechanical equipment sizing, and system optimization.
3. Expand market awareness/presence, through the reputation of unique solutions

JOB DESCRIPTION
The following is an overview of the responsibilitiesthis position but does not represent the full breadth of activities:
- Design, analyze, and optimize heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.
Conduct engineering calculationsfor cooling/heating loads, psychometrics, duct/pipe
sizing, etc.
- Analyze and refine systems for energy efficiency and performance, balancing
thermal comfort with operations costs and environmental impact. Familiar with
building codes, safety standards, and energy regulations.
- Utilize design software such as REVIT to complete engineering design documents
suitable for bidding, permitting, and construction.
- Produce and review drawings and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with industry codes and client standards.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including electrical, controls, and construction management, to deliver integrated project designs.
- Support construction and commissioning activities, including responding to RFls and reviewing submittals.
- Ability to travel to customer sites for proposals, data collection and engineering investigations or installations.
- Collaboration with other engineering disciplines to deliver engineering designs and general engineering projects within budget and on time.
- Develop bids and proposal documents as required to support the Engineering Manager as appropriate.
- Technical quality control checking of the team's work.
- Technical management of vendors and sub-contractors.
- Provide project team leadership.
- Other related duties as assigned or needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Mechanical Engineering
Technology (BSMET) or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) or
Doctorate Degree in Engineering (PhD)
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification. Professional
Engineering (PE) license preferred.
Mechanical Engineer - Job Description
- 5 years of mechanical design experience, ideally in data centers, power generation,
industrial, or other mission-criticalfacilities.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Experience with mechanical modeling tools such as Trane Trace, Carrier HAP, or CFO
software preferred.
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and relevant codes/standards.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, team-
oriented work ethic.
- Broad experience in interdisciplinary coordination-preferablyin data centers,mission-
critical facilities, industrial plants, pharmaceutical, or central utility plants.
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical documentation. Key
competencies include initiative, communication, teamwork, and results-driven.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
