Job Title: Graphic Designer (PR & Communications)
Location: Tampa, FL
Contract: 6-Months with likelihood of extension
Position Overview
A leading organization in the retail and consumer products space is seeking a
Graphic Designer to support the creation of digital, print, and event materials that bring public relations and corporate communications to life. This role focuses on hands-on production design, ensuring brand consistency across multiple channels while translating PR strategies into effective visual deliverables that support brand reputation and community presence.

Key Responsibilities
PR Design Support & Execution
- Execute on-brand design for PR assets across digital, print, and event materials
- Adapt templates and brand systems to produce consistent, high-quality deliverables
- Translate messaging, content, and photography into engaging visual communications
- Support design updates for media kits, press materials, internal communications, and community events
Brand Standards & Consistency
- Apply established brand guidelines across all PR materials
- Ensure files are organized, properly formatted, and production-ready
- Conduct quality checks to maintain visual accuracy and consistency across channels
- Assist in documenting and evolving design standards as communication needs grow
Collaboration & Growth
- Partner with PR teams and cross-functional stakeholders to understand project requirements
- Work closely with senior design leadership to execute projects and refine creative direction
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback effectively
- Stay current on design trends, PR communication best practices, and visual storytelling
AI & Tools Integration
- Use Figma and Adobe Creative Suite to efficiently create design deliverables
- Begin exploring AI-assisted design tools with guidance from senior team members
- Support production tasks that benefit from automation or AI capabilities
Required Qualifications
Experience & Background
- 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience
- Background in communications, PR, marketing, or brand design
- Experience designing across digital and print formats
- Exposure to event or experiential design is a plus
- Portfolio demonstrating strong layout, typography, and brand application
Core Competencies
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
- Familiarity with web content platforms such as WordPress is a plus
- Openness to learning and adopting emerging AI creative tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Basic understanding of PR and corporate communications goals
Design Skills
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and layout
- Ability to follow brand guidelines while producing polished design work
- Comfortable working within templates and design systems
