Hi!
Our CEO and founder is looking for a flexible, super-upbeat professional who can use Figma like a ninja, and loves to design on screen with real-time feedback.
You’ll be working directly with our CEO - Oxford University, Yale University, Notre Dame Law School. He designed and built a similar software platform that sold for $400M in 2020.
We are SecuraHR & Amazing Workplace, a team of professionals that love getting things done and helping others. Every day the goal is to improve the lives of people - starting with our own team and reaching every working person in the world!
A quick overview: Check us out at www.amazingworkplace.com and www.hrlawmadeeasy.com.
Now, why we’re really here - we’re looking for a UI/UX Designer - but more importantly, we’re looking for the right person.
If… You’re upbeat, proactive, and enjoy working in the office. You love to create and “work” is a four letter word because you love what you do and work is never really work. You communicate clearly (and often), take pride in your work, and genuinely enjoy solving problems. You take ownership, ask questions, and strive to learn and accomplish things alongside an amazing team. You do this with the goal of improving the lives of every working person. Then… this could be an amazing fit for both of us.
This is a full-time and in-office role in an organization that values trust, flexibility, and positive energy. We move fast, communicate often, and support each other. We care a lot more about how you show up each day than how many certifications you have or how many years you’ve spent with your head down.
Job Title: UI/UX Designer
Department: Product/Revenue
Reports To: CEO and CRO
Position Summary
The UI/UX Designer is a full-time position responsible for designing in Figma. The designs are for the company’s website, marketing materials, signs, shirts, software platform, and any other cool stuff we want to create together.
There are two types of designers - (1) those that like to design together and like real time feedback and make changes on screen live... and (2) those that like to take requirements, go to their office, create something, and get together when done. We want the first type of designer and only rarely the second type - please.
This individual must demonstrate maturity and professionalism in feedback environments. Executive critique, iteration cycles, and evolving product priorities are expected components of the role. The UI/UX Designer models a solutions-oriented mindset, separating personal identity from what is designed.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive & Product Partnership: Collaborate directly with the CEO, CRO, and Product team to create the desired user experience.
- Experience Architecture & System Design: Help to establish design systems, UI standards, interaction patterns, and visual frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across all digital touchpoints.
- Design Ownership: Design effective user flows, page layouts, prototypes, and interface components for product initiatives. Provide developer-ready files and specifications for implementation.
- Developer Collaboration & Implementation Oversight: Work closely with web and software developers to ensure accurate translation of design into production. Proactively address usability challenges during development and maintain quality control through launch.
- Brand Integration Across Digital Touchpoints: Ensure common visuals between the website, software platform, and supporting digital brand assets. Oversee supporting materials such as presentation templates, Zoom backgrounds, letterhead, sales materials, organizational charts, and other collateral to maintain consistency.
Qualifications
· Figma Master (amazingly fast at creating designs in Figma).
· Demonstrated success designing website and SaaS platform experiences.
· Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. (Yep, 3rd time mentioning this… LOL).
· Proven experience collaborating directly with software developers and product managers in agile or iterative environments.
· Executive-level communication skills with the ability to present design rationale clearly and confidently, but not stubbornly.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
Ideal Scene with a Successful UI/UX Designer
The company’s website and platform feel seamless, intuitive, and aligned with the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Purpose.
User journeys are intentional and frictionless. Navigation is clear. Feature adoption increases because the experience feels natural and guided rather than complex.
Design systems are documented and consistently implemented. Developers receive organized, thoughtful files that minimize back-and-forth.
Executive feedback sessions are collaborative and productive. The UI/UX Designer presents work confidently, incorporates critique efficiently, and continuously refines the experience without friction.
Metrics of Success
These are measurable outcomes tied directly to the UI/UX Designer’s performance.
- User Experience Quality & Engagement: Website and platform usability measurably improves over time.

- Design System & Consistency: A documented design system is implemented and maintained.
