Job Description
Role Purpose
The Coordinator of Internal Communications will support employee-focused communications initiatives and serve as a key member of the Corporate Communications team, supporting day-to-day operations and long-term planning. Job Duties
- Responsible for supporting maintaining all internal communications channels including newsletters, intranet, and digital screens and Slack.
- Support leadership and employee events including town halls, leadership meetings, activations employee screenings and other special programming
- Writing and maintenance of internal communications documents including messaging, talking moments and other materials.
- Monitor trends and apply insights to internal communications plans
- Maintain strategic internal communications tracking documents
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Natural interest in news, entertainment and sports media
- Strong writer
Desired Characteristics
- Fluency in Microsoft 360, including SharePoint, preferred
- Familiarity with Workvivo, Emma, Canva, Slack, Zoom and Appspace preferred
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Naturally possess a can-do attitude and want to work hard
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Ability to keep track of multiple workflow calendars required to meet deadlines
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Willingness to work overtime
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
