The Associate will provide direct support to Winterberry Group’s corporate strategy, digital transformation, commercial diligence, and market intelligence engagements. They will be responsible for primary and secondary research and play an instrumental role in the development and presentation of client deliverables. The position will include travel to client locations (approximately once a month).
The position offers a unique opportunity for someone with a minimum of one to three years of work experience to engage with highly motivated, smart, young professionals in a dynamic work environment. This role requires collaboration among small teams, with direct mentorship from Engagement Directors. It provides access and visibility into the larger organization and provides room for professional development and internal career advancement.
Responsibilities will include:
- Owning and executing key sections of client deliverables (e.g., market trend analyses, competitive landscapes, voice-of-customer summaries, opportunity mapping pods)
- Supporting customer and management interview processes, including scheduling, note-taking, and synthesizing insights into clear takeaways
- Aggregating, analyzing, and visualizing data to support market sizing, survey analysis, and proprietary Firm models
- Conducting desk research to analyze competitive landscapes and market dynamics across relevant sectors
- Contributing to white papers, market outlooks, and other internal publications

Qualifications
- Prior consulting or research experience is a requirement for this position. Minimum 1-3 years of experience with primary and secondary research, financial analysis, strategic planning, market/competitive benchmarking, and data aggregation. Familiarity with advertising, marketing and technology industries is preferred but not a requirement.
- Applicants must have completed their undergraduate or graduate studies; individuals currently enrolled in a degree program are not eligible.
- Exceptional English written and oral communication skills (both face-to-face and via video and telephone)
- Strong presentation abilities and a high degree of organization and executional skills required.
- Ideal candidates will demonstrate a strong proficiency in both PowerPoint and Excel, and have demonstrable experience researching, developing, refining, and presenting client deliverables.
- Demonstrate an ability to take initiative and work independently in addition to supporting and collaborating in a small team environment
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary range: $75,000–$95,000, dependent on experience. Bonus eligibility applies.
