Location: Los Angeles, CA (In-office at 7800 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA)
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Company Overview
Unboxed Group is a global creative agency specializing in crafting unforgettable brand experiences. Headquartered in Los Angeles with events executed nationally, our team translates ideas into captivating narratives, seamlessly connecting imagination and reality. From the high-stakes energy of the Golden Globes 2026 to HBO and Apple TV+ show premieres, the Lady Gaga album launch party, and annual iconic Coachella activations, we live at the intersection of culture and production.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a high-energy, creatively fueled Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This isn’t a "sit behind a desk all day" role—you’ll be the digital pulse of Unboxed, capturing the magic of our events in real-time and building our brand’s presence across all platforms.
The ideal candidate is likely a recent grad or an early-career professional who is obsessed with trends, lives on social media, and is ready to dive head-first into the world of luxury events and entertainment. You are as comfortable editing a viral-ready Reel as you are coordinating a marketing calendar. If you have a sharp eye for aesthetics and a "get it done" attitude, we want to see your portfolio.
What You’ll Do
Content Creation & BTS Capture
- Attend local high-profile events (and occasionally travel for out-of-state productions) to capture high-quality "Behind the Scenes" (BTS) content.
- Film, edit, and produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) that showcases our production process and final event results.
- Translate the "vibe" of an Unboxed event into digital assets that maintain our premium brand identity.
Social Media Management
- Own the social media calendar, ensuring a consistent and engaging posting schedule across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
- Write witty, professional, and brand-aligned captions.
- Monitor engagement, respond to comments/DMs, and stay ahead of platform algorithm changes and trending audio.
Marketing Support & Strategy
- Utilize AI tools to streamline copywriting, trend analysis, and content ideation.
- Assist in the development of pitch decks and marketing materials using the Google Workspace suite.
- Track and report on social media analytics to show growth and engagement trends to leadership.
Who You Are
- Trend-Obsessed: You know what’s trending on TikTok before it hits the mainstream. You understand how to adapt those trends for a B2B and B2C creative agency.
- Visual Storyteller: You have a "good eye." You understand framing, lighting, and pacing for mobile-first video.
- Ambitious & Adaptable: You thrive in fast-paced environments. Whether you’re in the office next to the Grove or on-site at a desert festival, you bring the same level of excitement.
- Tech-Savvy: You don’t just use AI; you leverage it to work faster and smarter.
- Professional: You can rub shoulders with industry VIPs at a premiere while remaining focused on the job at hand.
Experience You Bring
- 0–3 years of professional experience in Social Media, Marketing, or Content Creation (Entry-level/Recent Grads encouraged to apply).
- A strong personal social media presence or a portfolio of work for previous brands/clients is required.
- Proficiency with social media scheduling tools.
- Experience with mobile editing apps (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Rush, etc.) and Canva.
- Comfortable traveling for events as needed (local to LA mostly, with option to travel for NYC events possible).
Technical Requirements
- Google Workspace: High proficiency in Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
- AI Tools: Familiarity with ChatGPT, Gemini, or other generative AI tools for marketing.
- Content Capture: Proficiency in capturing high-quality content via iPhone/Mobile.
Perks & Compensation
- Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour.
- Location: Beautiful office in the heart of LA, right next to The Grove.
- Time Off: Unlimited PTO to ensure you stay refreshed and inspired.
- Future Planning: 401k enrollment options.
- Culture: Monthly team outings, flexible Friday (option to WFH), access to the world’s coolest events, and a fun, collaborative office environment.
