Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site/ remote work located in New York, NY for a Sales and Marketing Specialist. The role involves sales through on-premise online efforts in the restaurant, bar, event and distribution channels. The right candidate can find new markets for Hundredweight Ice, run marketing campaigns, tap into underserved areas of hospitality and contributing to marketing strategies.
We are looking for someone who is sales driven and had plenty of connections and experience in the world of Food and Beverage distribution. This person must be onsite, out in the field and active in personally seeking out new clients.
Candidates with liquor, wine beer distribution and/ or food and beverage wholesale sales and distribution and/or event sales required. This job requires someone who is self motivated, can meet real sales benchmarks and drive creative initiatives for growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to build and maintain client relationships
- Proven experience in Sales and Sales Management to achieve and exceed targets
- Ability to train team members and clients on product knowledge and services
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting systems is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment
