Holly is an AI-enabled platform specifically designed for the unique needs of city and local governments. Our technology helps cities and counties tackle critical challenges like workforce modernization, in order to build resilient teams.
Our platform is live across 7 states with 30+ jurisdictions representing over 2% of the US population—including major counties like Santa Clara and Contra Costa in the Bay Area, Orange County in LA, and Snohomish County in Washington State. We're getting overwhelmed by demand as cities and counties look to replace expensive consultants ($100K+ annually) and plan for a modern workforce.
We're built by former public servants and civic tech operators who met and incubated the company at Harvard Innovation Labs. We've raised $2.2M from leading investors in government technology and the future of work, including J2 Ventures, Roble Ventures, Gaingels, and prominent govtech founders and operators.
We center the people we serve in our decision making and strive to build an ambitious, dynamic, and high-performing environment. We care about creating an environment in which all our team members can thrive, succeed, and grow.
About the role
- Holly is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to support our growing go-to-market presence across conferences, LinkedIn, and webinars/owned content. This is a hands-on role focused on logistics execution, content coordination, and keeping our marketing engine organized and running smoothly.
- You’ll work closely with the Head of Go-to-Market, cofounders, and cross-functional teammates to ensure Holly shows up sharp at industry events, maintains a consistent LinkedIn presence, and produces webinars and content that engage our government audience.
- This is an opportunity to define the language and organizational posture that Holly uses to connect with public servants across the country. We are an AI-native company that is committed to communicating openly with our customers with authenticity. Help us do that better!
What you'll do
- Conference & Event Logistics
- Coordinate logistics for industry conferences (CALPELRA, IPMA-HR, League of California Cities, etc.) — booth setup, shipping, travel, hotel blocks, staffing schedules, and vendor management.
- Manage event inventory: signage, merchandise, printed materials, and booth assets.
- Support pre-event planning and post-event follow-up, including lead capture in HubSpot, attendee tracking, and sales handoff.
- Help evaluate new conference opportunities and track ROI across events.
- LinkedIn & Social Content
- Draft and schedule LinkedIn posts for Holly’s company page and support team members with post ideas, copy, and formatting.
- Maintain a content calendar tied to product launches, conference appearances, client wins, and industry moments.
- Track engagement metrics and identify what’s working.
- Webinars & Owned Marketing
- Coordinate end-to-end webinar production: scheduling, speaker prep, registration pages, promotion, day-of logistics, and post-event follow-up.
- Help develop other owned content moments — newsletters, case study distribution, thought leadership placement.
- Keep marketing assets organized and up to date (one-pagers, slide decks, demo videos).
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, or demand generation (B2B or public sector experience is a plus, not a requirement).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented — you don’t let things slip through the cracks.
- You use AI to move faster but never to write slop.
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and deadlines at once.
- Strong written communicator who can draft clean LinkedIn copy and professional emails.
- Familiar with tools like HubSpot, Canva, LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and Zoom (or similar webinar platforms).
- Willing to travel to conferences several times per year.
- Curious about government, public policy, or GovTech — bonus if you’ve worked in or around the public sector.
- No task is too small. You take pride in making things run well.
The pay range for this role is:
- 80,000 - 100,000 USD per year (New York City or California)
