Thorntree Slate & Marble works with architects, designers, builders, and homeowners to deliver high-end natural stone and fine porcelain for design-driven projects. We are looking for a Design Consultant who can confidently operate at the intersection of design and sales.
This is a client-facing role for someone who can guide decisions, elevate selections, and take ownership of the sale from first conversation through completion.
What You’ll Do
Work directly with clients in the showroom to guide material selections, including stone, porcelain, layout, and application
Translate design ideas into clear, buildable product solutions
Manage multiple projects at once with accuracy and urgency
Own the sales process from initial engagement to order placement
Collaborate with the team on pricing, availability, and logistics
Maintain a polished, presentation-ready showroom environment
What We’re Looking For
Strong design instinct with an eye for scale, color, and material pairing
Confidence in guiding clients and making recommendations
Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
Design experience is strongly preferred (tile, stone, interiors, or related field)
