Established in 1976 and celebrating our 50th anniversary, MIA Shoes offers fashion-forward footwear for women with an emphasis on wearability and comfort. We are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Territory Sales Representative to manage and grow our Southeast/East Coast region.
Role Description
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the road, enjoys building strong relationships and partnerships, and has a passion for driving sales in a fast-paced, fashion-forward environment. This position is Southeast-based and requires approximately 50% travel, including regular market appointments, trade shows, and in-person account visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand established territory from the Southeast to the Northeast
- Drive sales growth through new account acquisition and existing account development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with boutique and multi-location retail partners
- Present seasonal collections through in-person meetings, virtual appointments, and trade shows
- Partner with accounts on assortment planning, product education, and sell-through strategies
- Proactively prospect and open new accounts within the territory
- Monitor inventory flow, ship windows, and at-once opportunities to maximize business
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (customer service, operations, leadership) to support accounts
- Represent the brand at regional and national trade shows
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of wholesale, retail, or outside sales experience (footwear/apparel preferred)
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage a large territory independently
- Comfortable with frequent travel (approximately 50%)
- Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience with B2B platforms (NuOrder or similar) is a plus
