Role Description
This is a contract, remote role for a Wine Sales Specialist. The primary responsibilities include identifying and building relationships with clients such as distributors, restaurants, and wine retailers. The candidate will educate customers about our range of wines, generate sales leads, close deals, and contribute to market expansion. Additional tasks include delivering exceptional customer service and staying updated on wine trends and market developments to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Wine Sales and Sales to meet and exceed sales targets
- Knowledge of Wine Education, including wine varietals and the winemaking process
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to establish and maintain client relationships
- High level of self-motivation with the ability to work independently in a remote capacity
- Familiarity with the wine industry, global markets, and previous connections with distributors or hospitality professionals is a strong advantage
- Passion for wine and the ability to effectively communicate the heritage and quality of Rhesus Wine’s products.
Compensation
- Competitive base compensation plus commission on total sales.
- Additional incentives: quarterly performance bonuses.
