Inside Sales Lead
Location: Lombard, IL
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Commission Override + Bonus + Full Benefits
Schedule: Evenings | 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM Central Time
(4 weekdays + 1 weekend day, likely Saturday — final schedule set with leadership)

We invest heavily in marketing, technology, and systems — generating a consistent flow of inbound opportunities so our team can focus on what matters most: converting leads and driving revenue.
We are seeking an Inside Sales Lead to take ownership of our inside sales function — someone who can both perform at a high level and build systems that drive revenue.
This role is responsible for maximizing new leads, open estimates, and past customer opportunities.
Position Overview
The Inside Sales Lead is responsible for:
- Converting inbound leads into revenue
- Owning follow-up across all open estimates
- Driving repeat business and referrals from past customers
- Building structure, scripting, and accountability within inside sales
- You will act as the bridge between marketing, the call center, and the field sales team — ensuring no opportunity is left behind.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Conversion & Revenue Ownership
- Contact and convert inbound homeowner leads into booked jobs or scheduled consultations
- Guide customers through the buying process with confidence
- Handle objections and close opportunities over the phone
- Maintain consistent follow-up until every opportunity is resolved
Estimate Follow-Up & Deal Conversion (CORE FOCUS)
- Own follow-up on all unsold estimates using a structured cadence (Day 0, 1, 3, 5, 7, 10)
- Re-engage homeowners after consultations to drive decisions
- Identify and overcome objections to move deals forward
- Create urgency around scheduling and production availability
- Ensure no estimate goes cold or untouched
- Maintain detailed notes and next steps on every opportunity
High-Volume Outreach & Follow-Up Leadership
- Execute high-volume outbound calls daily to warm leads
- Re-engage aged leads and revive stalled opportunities
- Follow structured follow-up systems and cadences
- Ensure speed-to-lead and consistent communication
Past Customer Follow-Up & Retention
- Own follow-up with past customers at 30, 90, 180, and 365-day intervals
- Drive Google reviews through post-install follow-up
- Generate referrals from satisfied customers
- Identify and convert repeat business opportunities (garage, basement, patio, etc.)
- Build long-term relationships that turn customers into advocates
Pipeline & CRM Ownership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully updated pipeline in the CRM
- Track all calls, notes, follow-ups, and outcomes
- Ensure consistent communication across all opportunities
Appointment & Sales Support
- Schedule and confirm appointments for field sales reps
- Reduce cancellations and no-shows
- Ensure high-quality, well-prepared appointments
Leadership & Process Development
- Help refine scripts, talk tracks, and follow-up systems
- Set the tone for urgency, accountability, and performance
- Assist in training and onboarding future inside sales reps
- Play a key role in building out the inside sales team

Qualifications
- Prior inside sales or call center experience required
- Strong objection-handling and closing ability
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls
- CRM experience required
- Ability to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously
- Home services or home improvement experience is a plus
