Job Description: Spruce Bio is seeking a finance or accounting student to join its Summer Internship Program. This is a full-time, on-site Finance Intern position based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Finance Intern will assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, perform accounting tasks, and contribute to financial planning and forecasting processes. Responsibilities include conducting financial analyses, preparing reports, and supporting budgetary processes. The intern will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy and participate in various ad hoc projects to gain a comprehensive understanding of financial operations within a dynamic and fast-paced biopharmaceutical company.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, Accounting, and the ability to analyze Financial Statements
- Proven Analytical Skills to assess data, identify trends, and assist in decision-making
- Effective Communication skills to articulate financial findings and collaborate with teams
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accuracy in financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar financial analysis tools
- Enthusiasm for learning in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Bachelor’s degree in progress or recently completed in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Interest or experience in healthcare or biopharmaceutical sectors is a plus
