Our client, a technology-focused private equity firm, is seeking a high-performing Investor Relations Associate or Senior Associate to join its growing team. This individual will play a critical role in fundraising and ongoing LP engagement, working closely with senior leadership to deliver best-in-class investor relations execution. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role offering meaningful responsibility, ownership of complex initiatives, and strong professional growth. This position has a flexible start date and able to work from either of our client’s office locations in San Mateo, CA and Boulder, Colorado. The team enjoys working together on-site daily because their culture is spectacular - collaborative and energizing!
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a core contributor across all fundraising and investor relations initiatives, from preparation through execution and follow-up
- Create, refine, and maintain high-quality investor materials, with a strong emphasis on compelling PowerPoint presentations
- Own and manage the LP tracker and coverage model, ensuring accuracy, organization, and accountability
- Project-manage LP diligence requests, coordinating deliverables across internal teams and external advisors
- Support fund performance analysis, benchmarking, and investor reporting
- Manage data rooms, including DDQs, document updates, and LP diligence workflows
- Lead logistics and execution for LP events such as the Annual General Meeting, webinars, and other investor engagements
- Coordinate cross-functional inputs to deliver polished, accurate, and timely investor communications
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4+ years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, buyside investing, or a related investing role (e.g., private placement, LP consulting)
- Self-driven by nature and ability to anticipate and proactively initiate next steps
- Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
- Must possess exceptional standard for ethics and ability to manage confidential information
- Solid analytical capabilities and comfort working with financial and performance data
- Excellent PowerPoint and investor materials creation skills with a sharp eye for quality
- Professional, polished presence in interactions with limited partners and senior stakeholders
