Medical Stop Loss Implementation Manager Health Insurance | Fully Remote
A leading insurance organization is seeking a Stop Loss Implementation Manager to join its Medical Stop Loss and Accident & Health organization. This role is responsible for overseeing end‑to‑end implementation activities and supporting operational execution across stop loss programs.
The Role
This position works closely with senior leadership and plays a critical role in the successful onboarding and implementation of medical stop loss business. The Implementation Manager will help design and improve processes, enhance service delivery, and coordinate across multiple internal teams and external partners.
This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role that requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex implementation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage implementation activities for Medical Stop Loss programs
• Review, prepare, and file stop loss policies and reinsurance treaties
• Drive process and productivity improvements across implementation workflows
• Partner with underwriting, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure smooth execution
• Act as a key point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle
• Support and guide additional implementation resources as needed
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance in program setup and delivery
Desired Background
• Experience within Medical Stop Loss insurance
• Background in Health Insurance and/or Accident & Health
• Prior experience in implementation, onboarding, operations, or customer success
• Exposure to an MGU/MGA environment preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Hands-on experience reviewing and filing policies and treaties
• ESL / Connexure system experience strongly preferred
