Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing Sales Team. As the first point of contact for prospective customers, the SDR plays a critical role in driving business growth through strategic outreach, lead qualification, and relationship building.
In this role, you will engage with prospective customers through warm and cold outreach efforts, identify sales opportunities, and collaborate closely with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to generate pipeline growth and future revenue. Key Responsibilities
· Learn and understand the WoundZoom sales process, products, and value proposition to effectively communicate solutions to prospective customers.
· Conduct high-volume outbound outreach through phone calls, email campaigns, and prospecting efforts to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
· Identify key decision-makers within targeted organizations and initiate meaningful conversations to advance the sales process.
· Present and position WoundZoom’s portfolio of products and services to prospective customers in a compelling and consultative manner.
· Follow up on inbound leads, referrals, marketing-generated opportunities, and self-sourced prospects to maintain engagement and drive conversions.
· Partner with Sales Managers and Account Executives to develop strategic outreach plans and support pipeline development activities.
· Schedule meetings and generate qualified opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship-building efforts.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information, sales activities, and pipeline details within CRM systems.
· Meet or exceed daily, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics (KPIs) and sales activity goals.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred.
Experience & Skills
· 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, customer support, or a client-facing role preferred.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with prospective customers.
· Excellent phone presence and comfort managing a high volume of outbound calls and outreach activities.
· Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment while also working independently in a fast-paced setting.
· Strong influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills across varying levels of an organization.
· Effective problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking abilities.
· Highly motivated, self-driven, and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed in a performance-based environment.
