Company
Irving Fund is a national small business financing company. We package SBA 7(a) loans for businesses doing $400K to $20M in revenue —We've built our own application and underwriting platform which is why our files move faster and look cleaner than what most brokers ship. We're small enough that you'll talk to the people running the company every day, and growing fast enough that there's real room to move up.
The role
Monday - Thursday in our NYC office, Friday from home.
You'll prospect and qualify small business clients, manage inbound and outbound leads, and run discovery calls to understand what they need. You'll educate prospects on SBA loan products structure proposals, and walk applicants through documentation and underwriting in partnership with our credit and ops teams. You'll keep a clean pipeline in our CRM, follow up like a professional, and move deals from first touch to funded.
This is a sales job. We'll teach you the SBA side. You bring the sales experience.
How comp works:
Junior phase: $80K base, typically 3–8 months. You ramp without bleeding out on commission while you learn the product.
Sr phase: Year 1 OTE commission + salary, $135K. The day you'd earn more on commission than the base would pay, you flip.
Comprehensive benefits including: Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, 401k and more
