eNGINE is seeking a Business Analyst is a business-focused role focused around AI and analytics. Partnering with Marketing, Business Development, and Community Investment teams, this person identifies opportunities, scopes solutions, and builds tools that improve efficiency and decision-making. The role sits within core business functions (not IT) and drives dashboard development and emerging technology integration, translating business needs into practical technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support departmental reporting across Marketing & Communications, Business Development, and Community Investment
- Build and maintain Tableau dashboards, turning data from CRM, market research, and internal systems into actionable insight
- Evaluate and integrate new tools (member APIs, interactive calculators), translating business requirements into technical specs for IT
- Apply AI to streamline Business Intelligence processes and improve reporting efficiency
- Partner with Marketing, Business Development, and Community Investment to execute membership strategies; conduct financial statement analysis for member benchmarking
- Support SEC financial reporting and FHLBank System analytics, including peer benchmarking
- Prepare deliverables for the Board, Executive team, and internal committees; may serve as committee secretary
- Build cross-functional knowledge by participating in teams across Operations, Capital Markets, Community Investment, and Corporate Risk
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience); MBA a plus
- 3+ years of relevant business experience (4+ preferred), ideally in banking/financial services, with hands-on BI, reporting, and analytics work
- Solid grasp of core economic and finance concepts
- Advanced skills in Tableau or similar BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik) — required
- Familiarity with SQL, Python, or SaaS programming
- Familiarity with emerging AI technologies and integration
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational, project management, and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
