What You’ll Do
Work with engagement leaders to strategize engagement approaches, develop workplans, oversee and monitor progress, and report on critical path items.
Oversee and participate in company, industry, and case-specific research, including technical, economic, accounting, and market research, to support analyses, assumptions, and conclusions.
Analyze financial statements, accounting records, tax returns, and other financial documents to identify critical insights across multiple engagements.
Review, organize, and analyze case documentation, testimony, and court filings to identify the information that matters for the analysis.
Assist with drafting expert reports and preparing analyses primarily related to patent, copyright, and trademark infringement, as well as trade secret misappropriation matters across diverse industries and technologies.
Assist with the management of client relationships and serve as an important point of contact for client communications.
Help build and expand the team’s use of emerging AI tools to enhance research, analysis, and document workflows while maintaining accuracy and reliability.
What You Bring
4-year undergraduate degree with a concentration in economics, finance, mathematics and/or accounting.
3-6 years of relevant professional experience in damages quantification, preferably related to intellectual property disputes.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to clearly convey ideas.
Strong analytical and technical skills in finance, economics, and/or accounting with the ability to critically analyze financial statements, accounting records, tax returns, and other financial documents.
Significant experience assisting with the preparation of expert reports and supporting analyses. Team management experience is a welcome plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Openness to and curiosity about thoughtfully integrating AI tools into the engagement workflow.
