Your role and responsibilities:
In the role of Sr. Technical Trainer, you will be the driving force behind empowering customers and partners with the knowledge they need to succeed. You’ll lead hands-on, high-impact training sessions on a wide range of low and medium voltage electrical distribution products.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the training journey
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify learning needs and develop accurate and relevant training content,
Lead a hybrid model of training between themselves and subject matter experts to ensure effective delivery of technical training programs.
Develop materials, coordinate logistics, and tailor content to audience needs; Facilitate in-person and virtual sessions with clarity, confidence, and technical depth; Gather feedback, assess effectiveness, and continuously improve content
Qualifications for the role:
Bachelor degree in engineering or related field PLUS minimum 6 years of experience in electrical and/or technical industry
Knowledge of electrical distribution system equipment and applications, highly desirable
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-sufficiency and motivation—you take initiative and own your outcomes
Willingness to travel up to 30% across North America
Ability to work independently from any location
Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $100,500 and $160,800 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
