At Taphandles, we help breweries express their brand through customized tap handles and beer fonts. This isn’t a traditional sales job — there’s no catalog to push. Instead, it’s a consultative role where you partner with breweries, understand their needs, and collaborate with our in-house design team to deliver creative, tailored solutions that help breweries stand out and sell more beer.
About the Role
The Account Manager is the customer’s advocate at Taphandles. You’ll manage a portfolio of brewery accounts, build long-term relationships, and guide projects from idea to delivery. Success comes from listening, solving problems, and ensuring customers receive products and services that support their brand goals. You’ll collaborate with design, production, and operations to keep projects on track and customers delighted. This is a dynamic, cross-functional role with strong professional growth potential.
This role is based at our East Austin office (902 East 5th Street) and is in-person.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned brewery accounts
- Build trust and long-term relationships with customers
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver projects on time, on brand, and on budget
- Anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems
- Communicate clearly with customers about ongoing work and new opportunities
- Support project management tasks (quotes, project setup, internal coordination)
- Maintain accurate CRM/ERP records in NetSuite
- Stay current on beer and beverage industry trends
- Occasional travel as needed

Compensation
Base Salary: $64,000 per year
Bonus: Discretionary bonus based on gross margin managed, typically 8%–35% of base salary
