The Media Captain is a digital marketing agency that works with small and medium sized companies. We're looking for a Shopify developer who is knowledgeable in custom Shopify theme development and advanced Shopify functionality. This is a part-time position (starting with 5-hours per week). The position will pay $55/hour.
This position is fully remote. You would report directly to our Head of Development and Development Manager on projects. They would assign you tasks within our queue with deadlines that need to be met.
Preferred Skill-Sets:
- Advanced Shopify theme development (Liquid templating)
- Custom Shopify app development and API integration
- Experience with Shopify Plus features (preferred but not required)
- JavaScript/jQuery for custom functionality
- HTML/CSS for responsive design
- Familiarity with Shopify's theme architecture and best practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong critical thinking ability. If a client task is assigned, there are many times you will have to think outside of the box to complete the task.
We are looking for a knowledgeable developer to help develop custom Shopify sites from provided mockups in Illustrator. Additionally, provide support to our digital team with updating current client websites and implementing advanced features beyond standard Shopify templates.
