Position Summary
The Marketing Associate will play a vital role in supporting the marketing department’s daily operations, initiatives, and communications. This individual will assist in coordinating marketing projects, managing meetings, following up on deliverables, and ensuring smooth collaboration between the marketing team and other departments.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, organized, and resourceful professional with experience in marketing within the financial services industry. This role requires an “all hands on deck” approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Administrative Support
· Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document key action items and follow-ups.
· Manage and track project timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities across marketing initiatives.
· Support weekly team touch-base meetings and ensure accountability for assigned tasks.
· Assist the Director of Marketing with day-to-day operational needs and ongoing project management.
Marketing Execution
· Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, email, social media, and events.
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and creative partners to support campaign development and delivery.
· Maintain brand consistency and ensure adherence to visual and messaging guidelines across all materials.
· Help track marketing performance metrics and compile reports on campaign outcomes and ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Serve as a liaison between the marketing department and other teams within Arax and its partner wealth management firms.
· Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment across departments and support business development objectives.
· Participate in firmwide meetings and initiatives to represent marketing perspectives and gather input for strategic projects.
Organization and Reporting
· Maintain up-to-date marketing calendars, contact lists, and project management systems.
· Assist in monitoring budgets, tracking vendor invoices, and maintaining marketing documentation.
· Contribute to process improvements and workflow optimization across the marketing function.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
· Minimum 2–4 years of marketing experience, preferably within the financial services, wealth management, or investment industry.
· Prior experience coordinating projects and supporting cross-functional teams.
Skills and Competencies:
· Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace.
· Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Constant Contact, Zoho).
· Working knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.) and content management systems (WordPress or similar).
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
