Our client, a global technology leader providing advanced networking, security, and cloud infrastructure solutions that enable organizations to securely connect and scale is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. As a Network Engineer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting large-scale network environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to network management, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $55/hr W2 (No C2C or 3rd parties)
What's the Job?
- Perform code upgrades and firmware updates on Cisco Nexus switches (5K, 7K, 9K series).
- Support and maintain data center network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and execute upgrade and migration plans, including pre/post-checks and rollback procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues across multiple data center environments.
- Implement and maintain network configurations, documentation, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
What's Needed?
- Hands-on experience managing, maintaining, and upgrading large-scale network environments.
- Expertise in Cisco Nexus switches and firmware management.
- Knowledge of automation scripting using Python or Ansible.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex network issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including architecture, operations, and security.
