About The Role

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to help bring new ideas and processes as we scale the team, while maintaining our team-centric culture.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable APIs
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and database schemas in MySQL for high performance and scalability
- Collaborate with product managers and other team members to ensure system consistency and deliver high quality user experiences
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from concept to development, testing, deployment and maintenance
Qualifications
- Proven experience in backend development with a strong focus on PHP and MySQL
- Experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with MVC frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, Phalcon)
- Skilled in utilizing version control systems, notably git
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies
- Good understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies
