Business Operations & Finance Manager

Position Overview
The Business Operations & Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial, administrative, and operational systems that support the strategic growth and efficiency of 3 Little Birds LLC. This position plays a critical role in maintaining fiscal integrity, optimizing internal processes, and supporting the organization’s long-term business objectives.
The ideal candidate is an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a solid understanding of payroll administration, accounting principles, and operational management. This role requires a proactive approach to improving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Payroll
 - Administer biweekly payroll accurately and in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
 
 - Manage financial tracking, reporting, and reconciliation processes in coordination with external accountants or financial partners.
 
 - Support budgeting, cash flow management, and expense oversight to maintain fiscal accountability.
 
 - Identify and implement strategies to improve profit margins and operational efficiency.
 
Operations Management
 - Oversee administrative and operational systems to ensure effective coordination across all company functions.
 
 - Develop and enforce standardized procedures, documentation, and compliance processes.
 
 - Manage vendor relationships, contracts, billing, and related financial documentation.
 
 - Monitor key operational metrics and report findings to the Executive Director.
 
Strategic Growth & Performance
 - Partner with leadership to develop and execute initiatives that enhance business growth and sustainability.
 
 - Analyze financial and operational data to identify performance trends and recommend data-driven improvements.
 
 - Support business expansion activities, including service diversification and process scalability.
 
Leadership & Collaboration
 - Work cross-functionally with department managers to align operational systems with program goals.
 
 - Promote a culture of accountability, precision, and continuous improvement within the organization.
 
 - Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on financial and operational matters.
 
Qualifications
 - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
 
 - Minimum of 3 years’ experience in operations, finance, or payroll management (healthcare or human services experience preferred).
 
 - Proficiency with payroll platforms (ADP preferred) and financial management software.
 
 - Demonstrated ability to analyze data, manage budgets, and streamline operational workflows.
 
 - Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
