About HappyDoc
HappyDoc is an AI-powered assistant for veterinary clinics, built to automate the tedium of medical record-keeping and administrative tasks. Trusted by thousands of veterinarians in the US, Canada, and Australia, HappyDoc helps veterinarians reclaim hours each day by turning voice recordings and PDFs into structured SOAP notes, insights dashboards, and workflow tasking.
Role Overview
As our first Inbound SDR, you’ll be the front door to HappyDoc for private veterinary practices. You’ll respond to inbound leads quickly, qualify needs, book multi-stakeholder demos, and keep our pipeline clean and moving. You’ll also revive older leads, work event/webinar follow-ups, and share voice-of-customer insights with Sales, Product, and Growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Speed-to-Lead: Respond to inbound form fills, chat, and email within SLA; set the next meeting on the first touch when possible.
- Qualification: Run concise discovery (BANT-lite + clinic fit: provider count, PIMS, on-prem/cloud, note backlog pain) and route appropriately.
- Scheduling & Handoffs: Book and confirm demos for AEs/Founder; multi-thread owners + managers; send agendas, prep materials, and confirmations.
- Chat & Email: Own website/chat conversations and the inbound queue; deliver clear, friendly, and accurate answers and next steps.
- Revive & Nurture: Re-engage stalled/aged leads; follow up on webinars/events, associations, and light outbound into hand-raise segments.
- CRM Hygiene: Maintain complete, accurate records; track next steps, reasons for loss/no-show, and field notes that help us win the next call.
- Insights Loop: Capture objections, competitive mentions, and feature requests; share patterns with Growth/Product for messaging and roadmap.
- Process & Assets: Help improve email/call scripts, FAQs, and quick videos (Looms) that increase conversion and show rates
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must‑have:
- 1–3 years in an inbound SDR/BDR or similar customer-facing role at a B2B SaaS company
- Excellent written and verbal communication; you can make complex value props simple and clinic-friendly
- Organized and persistent: fast follow-ups, tight calendar control, and zero lead leakage
- Comfort working in CRM and chat; disciplined notes and next steps
- Curious and coachable; you ask good questions and iterate quickly on scripts and messaging
- Denver-based or willing to relocate
Bonus:
- Experience selling to SMBs, healthcare/vertical SaaS, or multi-stakeholder buyers
- HubSpot power user; comfort with light data/Excel/Sheets for list cleanups and basic reporting
What You’ll Help Build
- A fast, friendly inbound engine that turns hand-raises into high-quality demos
- Clear playbooks and scripts for chat, email, and phone that consistently convert
- Clean, reliable pipeline data that improves forecasting and channel decisions
- A steady feedback loop that sharpens messaging and reduces friction before the demo
