Role Description: This is a part-time remote role for a Social Media Manager at The Dream Team Media Company. The Social Media Manager will manage social media marketing campaigns, communication strategies, content creation, social media optimization (SMO), and write engaging content to enhance brand presence and audience engagement.
Required tasks of the role:
- Write copy for social media posts that may vary by platform as needed.
- Align written content with the brand voice for each agency client and for the target audience on various social media platforms.
- Create engaging graphics that drive lead generation or boost brand awareness.
- Schedule social media posts according to the client’s content calendar.
- Monitor the clients’ accounts, respond promptly to questions, and invite individuals to like/follow the account when possible.
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences.
- Research social media trends and inform management of changes relevant to the brand’s marketing activities.
- Schedule recurring emails to receive client data and authentic content.
- Assist with creating and monitoring ads on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.
- Edit short- and long-form video content for various social media platforms.
- Implement music in video content that aligns with each agency client’s brand voice, appeals to the target audience, and follows each platform’s sound-related algorithm.
- Write long-form content, including LinkedIn articles, blog posts, email marketing, and social channel descriptions for optimum engagement and alignment with brand goals.
Requirements and Skills
- Hands-on experience in content management using Canva or Adobe
- Excellent copywriting skills and command of the English language
- Knowledge of online marketing channels and social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Organized and able to multitask
- Experience using Google Workspace, including Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Gmail.
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Analytical skills to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly
- Content strategy and writing skills
