Marketing & Design Associate

About the Role
Support Har Zion Temple’s marketing and communications by creating compelling graphics, social content, and marketing materials that bring our programs and events to life. You will collaborate with our Marketing Director to promote everything from preschool happenings to community celebrations, holiday events, guest speakers, and more. If you love design, enjoy fast-paced creative work, and want to make a real impact on a vibrant community, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
• Design flyers, social graphics, posters, signage, and digital assets using Canva or Adobe tools
• Create and schedule content for Facebook and Instagram
• Assist with Constant Contact emails using provided templates
• Help keep our website up to date with new programs and content (WordPress)
• Organize photo and graphic assets for easy reuse
• Support the Marketing Director with day-to-day communications needs
• Occasionally take photos or short videos at events
What You Bring
• Strong eye for layout, typography, and visual organization
• Experience producing graphics quickly and cleanly
• Comfort with social media content creation for brand accounts
• Collaborative, positive approach to creative feedback
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency with branding
• Ability to manage multiple projects on short timelines
Nice to Have
• Basic familiarity with Canva, WordPress, and Constant Contact
• Interest in Jewish culture or community life
• Photography or simple video skills
Schedule and Compensation
• Up to 20 hours per week
• $25 per hour
• On-site at Har Zion Temple in Penn Valley, PA
