Position Summary
RSI is recruiting for a Knowledge Management Specialist who will promote knowledge sharing throughout the organization's operational business processes and systems by strengthening links between knowledge sharing and information systems and improving integration among information systems to facilitate the seamless exchange of information across those systems. A knowledge management specialist will build collaborative environment and transforms our organization into a knowledge organization through an idea of building a shared knowledge mindset across all levels of the organization.

Hiring Range: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year. (The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant's education, training, and experience.)
This position is required to travel less than 5% of the time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the systematic management of Legacy Management knowledge assets for the purpose of creating value and meeting tactical and strategic business requirements to support business initiatives, processes, and systems to sustain and enhance the storage, assessment, sharing, creating, and retention of knowledge assets.
- Annually update the Legacy Management Knowledge Management Strategy to improve and expand its ties to the Legacy Management Strategic plan, vision, and goals.
- Design and create knowledge life cycle process to include creation of SharePoint sites and pages to support business needs for knowledge to support their initiatives and strategy.
- Analyze existing business processes and systems to suggest improvements to how knowledge is collected and utilized to information organizational improvement, lessons learned, and decision making.
- Ensuring compliance with LM Records and Information Management strategy, guidance, procedures, and requirements.
- Developing and managing knowledge sharing activities and events to include a knowledge community of practice.
- Supporting other requests and participating in information management work groups and outreach activities to customers, as requested. Perform project management tasks, including budget preparation, task plan monitoring and control, and reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience

Essential Physical Requirements
