Ellison Development is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead all areas of financial operations for the growing business. Reporting to the Owners, this position will oversee core FP&A functions, KPI's, debt reporting, diligence, long-range planning and strategy. We are seeking 10+ years’ experience, ideally with some recent experience working for/with PE or VC backed company in the real estate market.
Responsibilities:
- Source new Capital and manage the relationship
- Lead all areas of FP&A including budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
- Create dashboards and financial models to deliver operational metrics and KPI reporting
- Partner with key stakeholders as well as various other department heads including Sales & Marketing, Construction and HR
- Work closely with Financial Institutions on strategy and planning
- Provide solutions and suggestions to improve operational efficiency and meet deadlines
- Other ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- 10+ years of FP&A experience, ideally within a PE or VC backed company
- 5+ years of land investment experience, preferably residential development real estate developer, home builder, land banker or lender/private equity firm with a real estate concentration
- Exposure to the SaaS or software industry strongly preferred
- Strong leadership qualities and communication skills
