ecares health, Principal Software Engineer
About Us
Healthcare is broken, especially in underserved communities like the Bronx where 66% of patients are on Medicaid. Fragmented systems are leading to poor health outcomes and extensive financial burden. This is what inspired the inception of
ecares health.
We're a healthcare tech startup spun out of Essen Health Care, one of the largest multispecialty medical groups serving the Bronx and surrounding communities. We work hand-in-hand with doctors and healthcare operators to build infrastructure that connects the entire patient journey, from engagement to scheduling, from clinical recommendations to care management, and from actionable tasks to health outcomes.
Our goal is to bring concierge healthcare to underserved communities.

The Role

This is a unique role that combines product strategy, healthcare consulting, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll work directly with clinical staff to understand day-to-day challenges, translate those into actionable product requirements, and drive features from concept through launch and adoption.
