Full-Time Data Processing Clerk/Team Lead (Hybrid)

Logical Technology and Research (LTR) is seeking a Data Processing Clerk with team leadership experience to support our Federal customer in Cincinnati, OH. Work can begin pending candidate approval by the customer and passing a Tier 1 background check, fingerprint screening and drug test. Must be U.S. Citizen with 5+ years of experience leading a team providing data entry and data coding in support of health studies and surveillance programs. Team also provides clerical and records management support.
Background/Experience Requirements for this position
· Must be a US Citizen.
· BA or BS degree preferred
· 5+ years of experience providing data entry and data coding in support of health studies and surveillance programs.
· 3+ years of experience leading a team providing data entry, data coding, clerical and records management support for Federal customer.
Key Functions for this position
· Entering occupational health and exposure study data according to a project specific coding guide provided for the activity.
· Coordinate with project manager to orient staff to the project and address questions and concerns as the project progresses.
· Validating or correcting study and surveillance data from edit reports.
· Coding data according to national classification standards.
· Providing clerical support for study data collection.
· Contacting data providers to request information, such as requesting medical records from health care providers and following up on outstanding survey responses.
· Assisting researchers with field data collection, such as scanning hardcopy files, distributing and collecting surveys, tracking the status of survey responses and forms, preparing materials for mass mailings, and retrieving and filing study records and associated data according to branch procedures.
· Providing administrative or final level quality control check for industry and occupation codes.
· Providing records management and technical documentation. This may include providing quick and easy access to records in a usable format, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate, complete and compliant with regulations and/or policies, and maintaining paper records and data according to Agency- specific rules and procedures.
· Participating in training related to industry and occupation coding.
· Assisting with system testing and IT team consultations as needed.
· Completing project consistency reviews and other computer-generated coding reviews.
· Providing training to team members.
