Overview
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and ensuring efficient production operations. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, along with hands-on experience in various manufacturing techniques and technologies.
Duties
- Assist in developing machining processes for new parts
- Create and update setup sheets and work instructions
- Optimize cycle times and tooling strategies
- Support APQP and process planning efforts
- Evaluate fixture design and suggest improvements
- Assist in cost reduction initiatives
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in CAM programming
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing methodologies and ISO 9001 standards is preferred.
- Experience with robotics integration within a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
