POSTION: Junior Account Executive
REPORING TO: National Account Director

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Jr. Account Executive, you will facilitate the planning and execution of all John Hardy sales strategies as they apply to Nordstrom locations on the West Coast. The Jr. Account Executive will act as the liaison between stores and National Account Director and will build relationships with store teams. In this role youwill provide ongoing support to store captains through store visits, formal trainings, merchandising, event support and sales incentives. The goal is to deliver annual sales increases through proper planning, sales strategy and inventory management through in-store support.
ROLE SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel up to 70% to work directly in-stores
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with store teams to support the John Hardy business and anticipating their needs
- Attend trunk shows and events* to ensure successful to deliver regional sales targets and brand messaging. *Support on weekends /evenings when needed
- Ensure retailers understand and execute according to Company guidelines with regards to inventory assortments, product mix, product merchandising and display, marketing execution etc.
- Host annual formal brand trainings in Nordstrom locations within the region in Feb, June & September to engage and inspire store teams
- Host brand events in select Nordstrom locations quarterly
- Drive productivity improvements in existing points of distribution
- Support launch of new distribution
- Identify and develop new clients and top performers
- Organize and conduct seasonal training in partnership with retailers to creatively ensure in-store team members are properly supported
- Communicate company programs to retail partners ensuring engagement and support required to execute initiatives through to the end consumer
- Complete all administrative duties accurately and expeditiously (i.e., budgeting, expenses, reporting, recaps, scheduling, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Intrinsically motivated luxury sales professional with 2+ years of industry experience
- Ability to understand client needs and provide support to yield business growth
- Organizational skills and team player
- Budget management
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented

- Proven track record in the achievement of sales results
- Structured and analytical thinker capable of developing sales strategies, effectively communicating them to retail partners, and driving them through to completion

- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, nights, weekends and holidays

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/strong excel skills required
