About us:
Land Helmets is a SEI accredited PPE manufacturer specializing in ANSI/ISEA Z89.1 Type I and Type II certified safety helmets. We provide direct factory manufacturing, in-house R&D development, and OEM/ODM solutions for distributors, contractors, and national brands.
We are expanding and looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager with knowledge of PPE, safety equipment, or industrial products.
Position Overview
This role will lead B2B sales growth and marketing strategy for our safety helmet division. The ideal candidate understands compliance standards, distributor sales channels, and contractor purchasing behavior.
This is not a retail sales role. This is a strategic B2B position within a manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
· Develop and manage distributor and contractor accounts nationwide
· Generate new B2B leads through outreach, trade shows, and digital channels
· Present technical product specifications (ANSI Type I & Type II, Class C/E/G)
· Negotiate pricing programs and bulk agreements
· Build and manage a sales pipeline
· Meet monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Technical Education & Product Demonstration
· Create and present educational content on PPE standards (ANSI, OSHA, impact protection)
· Conduct product demonstrations for distributors, safety managers, and contractors
· Develop short-form educational videos explaining helmet compliance and features
· Lead in-person or virtual product presentations and training sessions
· Translate technical specifications into clear value messaging for customers
· Serve as a subject-matter resource for helmet standards and jobsite applications
Marketing & Brand Development
· Develop and execute B2B marketing campaigns (Constant Contact, LinkedIn, email marketing, digital ads)
· Create product education materials, spec sheets, and presentation decks
· Support product launches and distributor marketing programs
· Monitor competitor activity and market trends
· Collaborate with R&D and production teams to communicate product improvements
Qualifications
· Some experience in PPE, safety equipment, construction supply, or industrial tools
· Experience presenting technical products to B2B audiences
· Comfortable on camera for educational videos and product demonstrations
· Proven track record of meeting sales targets
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills
