Kitchen, Bath & Cabinetry Designer | Priano | Tampa, FL | Full-Time
About Priano
Priano is home to one of the most sophisticated interior design centers in the Southeast. Our 20,000-square-foot showroom in Tampa was purpose-built for designers and trade professionals — featuring a curated collection of premium cabinetry, finishes, and appliances in an environment that elevates every client interaction.
This is a showroom built to help designers win. We work with serious homeowners, custom builders, and luxury developers on projects that typically range from $50K to $120K+, with many well into six figures and some significantly larger. Our designers have delivered tens of millions in completed cabinetry work, including multiple $300K+ installations. If you’re used to working with real budgets and want an environment that converts, you’ll feel at home here.
Who This Role Is For
This is not an entry-level design position.
We are looking for experienced kitchen and bath designers who are also strong sales professionals — people who can guide high-end clients confidently from concept through installation and take pride in the outcome.
If you are a talented designer who can also close, this role offers one of the strongest earning opportunities in the Tampa market.
Why Top Designers Choose Priano
An elite showroom that helps you win. Our environment is purpose-built to impress discerning clients and close premium projects. If you can sell here, you can sell anywhere.
Projects worth your time. We attract clients with meaningful budgets and complex, rewarding scopes — not entry-level remodels.
Income that reflects your performance. Our top designers earn $90,000–$160,000+. This is a commission-based role with a structured draw during ramp-up, designed to reward people who perform.
Operations support that lets you focus. A strong back-office team handles coordination and logistics so you can focus on designing, selling, and building relationships.
A team worth working alongside. We hire experienced, driven professionals. You won't be carrying others — you'll be learning from them.
What You'll Do
- Guide clients from initial consultation through final installation while staying focused on design and relationships. You’ll sell fully executed projects backed by a dedicated operations team, including cabinetry project managers and punch specialists who handle the details behind the scenes.
- Create detailed cabinetry and kitchen/bath designs using 2020 Design or ProKitchen
- Present designs confidently to high-end clientele and guide them to well-informed decisions
- Manage projects through documentation, ordering, and installation coordination with project managers and operations
- Build long-term relationships with homeowners, builders, and trade professionals
- Own your pipeline — follow up consistently and close projects from concept to signed contract
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Proven experience designing and selling kitchens and/or cabinetry — not just designing, but closing
- Track record of selling complete installations, not product alone
- Proficiency in 2020 Design and/or ProKitchen
- Strong portfolio of completed high-end kitchen and bath projects
- Comfort and confidence presenting to luxury clients
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Preferred:
- Experience in a premium showroom or high-end residential environment
- NKBA certification or equivalent credentials
- Familiarity with custom cabinetry lines and luxury appliance brands
- An existing book of business or strong referral network you can bring with you
Compensation & Benefits
- Commission-based structure
- Top performers earn $90,000–$160,000+
- We offer a structured ramp-up package for the right candidate — details discussed during the interview process.
- Full benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage
- No cap on earnings — your income scales directly with your performance
Is This You?
You're a designer who takes pride in the craft and knows how to close. You're confident in front of a client, detail-oriented through project completion, and motivated by the idea that your income should reflect what you're capable of.
If that sounds like you, we'd like to talk.
