Overview
The Strategic Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening Oticon’s commercial relationships with key buying groups across the hearing healthcare industry, including CQ, Fuel, Audigy, Entheos, and other strategic partners. This role serves as the primary interface between Oticon and these groups, ensuring alignment on growth strategies, maximizing revenue opportunities, and enhancing Oticon’s market position. The individual must excel in navigating channel dynamics and balancing competing interests.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for major buying groups.
- Develop and execute annual strategic account plans to grow Oticon’s sales, market share, and engagement within each partner organization.
- Lead regular business reviews, aligning on performance, growth initiatives, promotional priorities, and new opportunities.
- Manage contract negotiations, rebate structures, pricing strategies, and performance expectations.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication of product updates, launches, pricing, and program changes.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to deploy programs that support partner growth and elevate Oticon’s competitive positioning.
- Work closely with regional managers, account managers, inside sales, product marketing, and pricing teams to ensure coordinated execution of strategies.
- Provide guidance to field teams on partner expectations, best practices, and engagement protocols.
- Coordinate partner education and training initiatives, including launch enablement sessions and productspecific workshops.
- Facilitate alignment between buying groups and field sales teams to maintain fair market practices, avoid customer overlap disputes, and uphold Oticon’s partnership commitments.
- Apply sound judgment and databased decisionmaking to balance partner needs with broader business priorities.
- Maintain accurate contractual records, performance benchmarks, and partner documentation.
- Ensure timely reporting on revenue, rebates, and compliance metrics.
- Support internal forecasting and pipeline reviews aligned to buying group performance trends.
- Deliver Best-in-Class Customer Experience
- Develop and/or improve key processes to ensure ease of doing business with Oticon
- Drive and support product introductions and unique materials required for partners (Private Label, Punch-out Systems, etc.)
- Ensure timely payment to partners and partner members (reimbursements, rebates, etc.) based on contracts
- Ensure the accurate and timely submission of price sheets and any required contract documents to partners on a regular basis
- Gather and curate information related to competitive landscape in partner channels (Competitors, pricing, programs, etc.)
- Support budget management with regards to partners events, training and promotions
- Support Management Team with various initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, or B2B commercial roles; hearing care industry experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success growing revenue within complex partner channels.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Ability to manage channel conflict diplomatically and effectively.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in interpreting revenue, pricing, and performance data.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple highvisibility partnerships simultaneously.
- Ability to travel up to 50%
The pay for this position is expected to be from $105,750 and $136,500 + Commission; however, while the salary range is effective as of the date of this posting, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as bonus, commissions, or discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (listed below)
