We first opened our doors in 2016, but have since evolved into a national lifestyle brand.
PURPOSE // The Marketing Coordinator supports the Creative + Marketing Department by executing day-to-day marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth across all Pure Salt platforms. Reporting to the Creative + Marketing Director and overseen by the CEO/CBO, this role assists in campaign coordination, content development, social media management, and brand communications to ensure consistency and alignment with Pure Salt’s aesthetic and voice. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, creative mindset are essential to supporting the team and achieving marketing objectives.
OUTLINE // The Marketing Coordinator role is a full-time, non-exempt position. This position’s primary location will be Pure Salt Design Studio (Newport Beach, CA), and will report directly to the Creative + Marketing Director. The compensation range for this position is $20-23/hour.
DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES //
- Supports the Creative & Marketing Director and the company Founders to execute outward-facing content from established editorial calendar including: E-mail, Social Assets (instagram, pinterest, tiktok, facebook), Website, Print & Digital Collateral, Project & Product Pitches and Paid Advertising.
- Manage creative requests through Project Management software
- Post all social campaigns for email, social posts, stories, etc.
- Manage social platforms and assist with guest engagement, manual posting for multi-platform posts and stories, monitoring trends, and pulling metrics
- Weekly social assets include: IG stories (for @puresaltinteriors + @shoppepuresalt), IG reels (for @puresaltinteriors + @shoppepuresalt), Pinterest pins, Pinterest stories, TikTok videos
- Manage PR asset requests for images and collateral with internal review by the Creative & Marketing Director and the company Founders as needed
- Maintain the Pure Salt brand aesthetic and voice in all content produced to create cohesive brand identity
- Assist at photoshoots as needed
- Assist team on marketing initiatives as needed, including event coordination, printing collateral, placing orders, concepting and packaging media gifting, and more.
- This role may require intermittent training and support of other team members as it relates to onboarding, transfers, and offboarding transitions.
- Other duties as assigned, and subject to change with business needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS //
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Must have the ability to multitask
- Experience with Klayvio, Canva, Adobe
- Knowledge of omni-channel social media platforms as an administrative user
- Curious, self-motivated, team player with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Able to effectively use common office equipment
- Creative and critical thinker
- Knowledge of GSuite Software Products and Asana
- Open to feedback and the ability to apply notes for improvement
EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE //
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- 1-2 years of Social Media/Content Creation experience for a professional brand
- 1-2 years of professional experience, either as an intern or non-exempt part-time or full-time employee
