The Role
Fancy is seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support our growth, brand, and community-building initiatives. This role is perfect for a student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, early-stage fintech startup. You’ll gain hands-on experience across digital campaigns, social media, content creation, and community building, contributing to projects that engage renters, property managers, and advertisers alike.
This is a unique opportunity to learn how fintech, protech, and rewards marketing come together to grow a mission-driven platform. You’ll collaborate with Revenue Operations, Partnerships, and Product teams while learning how strategy and execution lead to success in a real-world startup environment.
What You’ll Do
- Supporting internal and external partners with the planning and execution of B2B and B2C content creation for brand awareness.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and marketing opportunities across the fintech, proptech, and rewards landscapes.
- Support community outreach efforts, ambassador programs, and partnerships with universities or influencers.
- Partner across teams to plan and execute virtual and in-person events, including webinars, recruitment fairs, and launch events.
- Maintain content calendars, organize assets, and support campaign workflows ensuring they stay up-to-date as we evolve.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, or related field.
- Strong interest in fintech, startups, digital marketing, or the loyalty landscape.
- Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with one or more marketing tools (Instagram, Canva, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Figma, Braze, etc.).
- Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks.
- A curious, collaborative mindset, and eagerness to learn in a startup environment.
Bonus points if you...
- Have experience creating content (TikTok, Instagram Reels, blogs, newsletters).
- Understand SEO, social media analytics, or influencer partnerships.
- Have participated as campus brand ambassadors,marketing programs, or other student organizations.
- Are passionate about financial wellness, real estate, disrupting the rental landscape, and digital advertising.
