Engineering Industries eXcellence is a dynamic and growing organization, and we are seeking a self-driven 100% remote/WFH Data Warehouse/BI Specialist (Technology Consultant) to complement our growing team.
As a Data Warehouse/BI Specialist, you will support our Industries Technology Lab and work productively with Consultants, Engineers, Project Managers, and other internal & external stakeholders to ensure customer success. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into process-aligned designs and analytic solutions based on industry best practices. You will play a key role in helping Engineering IndX deliver market-leading solutions and provide value to our customers.
Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Analysis- Assist in gathering and building business, functional, and technical requirements
- Contribute to design specifications and related documentation
Project Execution- Conduct data cleaning, analysis, and transformation for projects
- Develop and troubleshoot analytic/statistical models
- Build dashboards and reports to support decision-making (Tableau, Power BI, Excel)
- Serve as a key point of contact for technical updates and reporting
- Lead resolution of technical issues, including solution development and product releases
- Own the testing process and ensure solution acceptance by end users
- Support end-user training and adoption of solutions
- Evaluate and streamline work processes to improve efficiency
- Assist in risk mitigation processes and performance audits
Collaboration- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment of solutions with business needs
- Provide strong technical and communication support to stakeholders
- Create an inclusive and supportive team environment
Knowledge and Skill Requirements- 3-5 years of experience in SQL data analysis, reporting, and ETL processes
- Strong expertise in:
- SQL Data Analysis, Tableau, and data warehousing
- SQL Server
- Connectors, ETL processes, repairing data details, and back-end SQL
- Strong queries and stored procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with dashboarding/reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Excel)
- Experience with statistical techniques for data cleaning, processing, and analysis
- Programming knowledge (Python, VBA/VBScript) is a plus
- Strong communication and consulting skills to collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams
- High adaptability to learn new technologies and manage challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Recommended QualificationsExperience- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States for Engineering IndX
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, reporting, or related engineering/manufacturing processes
- Proven ability to effectively communicate progress, status, and issues to internal and external customers
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
Education- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
