Location: Atlanta, GA (Primarily remote with occasional office visits)
Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role will assist with website maintenance, event coordination, social media, and support various marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will excel at juggling multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the website through CMS including homepage improvements, content updates and landing page creation.
- Plan, create, schedule and post engaging content across company social media channels.
- Write and edit search-engine-optimized content for blog posts, marketing emails and landing pages.
- Design and update collateral such as flyers, brochures and presentations to align with brand guidelines.
- Support corporate event sponsorships by coordinating booth displays, promotional items and other event materials, occasionally handling the packaging and shipping of items out of the Atlanta office.
- Ensure the marketing resource center is updated with relevant and current materials.
- Provide support to the marketing team on other projects as needed.
Required Skills and Proficiencies
Education:
- Recent college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in marketing (preferably with internship experience) OR an associate’s degree with 2+ years of marketing experience at a B2B company.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), or similar design platforms.
- Familiarity with productivity tools like Zoom, Monday, GSuite, and Office 365.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation platforms.
- Working knowledge of website CMS platforms, especially WordPress.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and web analytics.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Marketing Knowledge:
- Intermediate understanding of Social Media Marketing (LinkedIn, YouTube, X) with a focus on B2B strategies.
- Understanding of B2B sales channel concepts; knowledge of the banking/financial services industry is a plus.
Professional Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey creative ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and seamlessly transition between multiple projects.
- Detail-oriented and thorough, ensuring accuracy and high-quality work while maintaining a creative approach.
- A proactive, self-motivated individual with a passion for learning new tools, concepts, and staying on top of emerging marketing trends.
- Creative thinker who enjoys solving problems and finding innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to improve processes and drive results.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, embracing challenges with enthusiasm, a “go-getter” attitude, and a constant drive to bring fresh, creative ideas to the table.
- Bonus: Bilingual in Arabic or Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus.
