The Project Controller supports PSG’s power generation equipment services projects by assisting with project planning, execution, cost control, and customer coordination.
Primary Functions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects with internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction, strong financial results, repeat business, and project success.
- Act as a secondary point of contact for larger projects assigned to a PSG Site Manager.
- Work with PSG corporate management and site teams to improve project execution (schedule reduction, margin improvement, cost reduction, extra work).
- Manage subcontractor commercial issues.
- Ensure proper project closeout, including final customer reports, subcontractor closeouts, final cost reporting, and lessons learned.
- Support Site Lead requests and logistics as needed throughout the project.
- Identify and communicate project cost-reduction opportunities to management.
- Assist in developing and executing project plans, including readiness reviews and manpower confirmation.
- Perform project cost controls, including daily and weekly job cost and revenue tracking.
- Coordinate with Finance on invoicing, cost updates, and project change orders.
- Manage costs across multiple divisions and internal stakeholders.
- Escalate cost or finance discrepancies to the Director of Project Support Services.
- Review and approve customer and subcontractor invoices.
- Manage site consumable orders.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, including required flow-downs and project-specific requirements.
- Track subcontractor deliverables, including schedules, insurance, safety documentation, timesheets, costs, invoices, and final inspection reports.
- Ensure all PSG and customer processes are followed.
- Support customer pre-award and post-award requirements as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to understand and communicate commercial and contractual issues.
- Experience working with customers and managing difficult situations.
- Experience with project cost tracking and analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with heavy Excel usage; Adobe proficiency required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
