Position Overview
The Brand Consultant is a consultative sales professional responsible for engaging inbound and outbound prospects, qualifying opportunities, guiding clients to the right manufacturing and branding solutions, closing new business, and managing ongoing reorder relationships.
This role requires someone who can listen deeply, understand a prospect’s vision and constraints, educate them on available options, and confidently recommend the best path forward—whether that’s private label, custom formulation, turnkey brand launch, or manufacturing-only services.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Engagement & Qualification
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries (website, email, referrals, marketing campaigns)
- Proactively reach out to targeted prospects aligned with Trilogy’s ideal customer profile
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand brand vision, goals, budget, and timelines
- Qualify prospects for fit with Trilogy’s capabilities and services
Consultative Selling & Solution Design
- Educate prospects on Trilogy’s service offerings including private label, custom formulation, custom manufacturing, packaging, and label design
- Recommend the most appropriate service model based on client needs and readiness
- Guide clients through product selection, customization options, and next steps
- Collaborate internally with formulation, operations, and design teams
Closing & Order Conversion
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and scopes of work
- Address objections and manage expectations around timelines, MOQs, and pricing
- Close new business and ensure a smooth handoff to operations
Account Management & Reorders
- Maintain ongoing relationships with active customers
- Proactively follow up for reorders, line extensions, and repeat business
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle
CRM & Process Adherence
- Accurately document all interactions and deal stages in the CRM
- Track pipeline activity and revenue forecasts
- Follow established sales processes and compliance requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in consultative sales, account management, or brand development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfort discussing pricing, timelines, and technical concepts
- Highly organized with strong follow-up discipline
- Experience in skincare, cosmetics, beauty, wellness, preferred
