Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer, either at an entry-level or with prior experience, to join our dynamic design team. Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget constraints for interior spaces.
- Develop conceptual designs using software such as SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for remodeling, renovation, lighting design, and construction phases.
- Assist in selecting color schemes based on color theory principles to create harmonious interiors.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
- Support project management activities including budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Create visual presentations to communicate design ideas effectively to clients and team members.
- Conduct site visits during renovation or remodeling projects to oversee progress and ensure quality standards.
- Assist in lighting sales efforts by providing technical expertise on lighting fixtures and solutions.
- Contribute to drafting contracts and documentation related to project scope and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field; relevant experience is also valued.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), Bluebeam (for PDF markup), and CAD software.
- Knowledge of interior design principles including space planning, color theory, lighting design, and materials selection.
- Experience with drafting technical drawings for construction or renovation projects.
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques for scheduling and budgeting.
- Understanding of construction processes, contracts, remodeling procedures, and building codes.
- Strong communication skills for client presentations and team collaboration.
