Responsibilities
- Aids and coordinates product development projects
- Works with other departments to establish designs, product development, and vendor strategy
- Ensures that labeling and literature match product specifications
- Work with vendors to identify issues with incoming products
- Participate in quality assurance process.
Required skills
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; specifically: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- General working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
- Excellent layout & typesetting skills
- Strong knowledge of printing, color profiling and print specs
- Strong conceptual skills - must be able to create your own product design ideas and execute them without relying on outside inspiration
- Must possess an artistic eye that is detail oriented with the ability to create new concepts
- Experienced at managing and delivering multiple projects under tight timelines to meet deadlines
- Comfortable following pre-existing templates and style-guides
- Ability to take direction
- Strong problem solver who enjoys a fast-paced environment and can respond quickly to urgent requests
- Must have strong organizational skills and a keen eye for attention to details
- Traditional hand sketching and illustration abilities are also a plus
