Creative & Community Coordinator

Position Overview
The Creative & Community Coordinator supports the visual presence, community engagement, and in-store events across our retail locations, including Aloha Kira (Kailua) and Kira x Miffy (Waikiki) . This role works closely with the owner and store teams to ensure each location feels cohesive, engaging, and aligned with our brand standards.
This position is ideal for an outgoing, self-motivated creative who enjoys working independently, creating visual content, and being on-site to support retail events and community activations.
Key Responsibilities
Brand, Social & Visual Support
- Create and capture on-brand content for social media across all store locations
- Photograph products, in-store displays, events, and lifestyle moments
- Design simple, on-brand graphic assets for social media, signage, and promotions
- Maintain visual consistency while adapting content for each store’s unique identity
Community & Events
- Support planning and execution of small in-store events, launches, and collaborations
- Assist with event setup, signage, content capture, and day-of coordination
- Engage with customers, artists, and partners during events and in-store activations
In-Store & Multi-Location Support
- Travel between Honolulu and Kailua locations as needed
- Provide on-site support for Aloha Kira and Kira x Miffy
- Collaborate with store teams to identify content opportunities and event needs
Qualifications & Requirements
- Outgoing, personable, and comfortable engaging with customers and community partners
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
- Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools
- Photography experience (product, lifestyle, or event photography)
- Experience coordinating or supporting small events
- Must be based on Oʻahu and able to travel between store locations
- Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends for events
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting social media for a retail or lifestyle brand
- Basic photo editing skills (Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar)
- Familiarity with fashion, retail, or creative small businesses
Work Environment
- Part-time role with a flexible schedule; hours may increase around events or launches
- Combination of in-store, on-site, and remote work

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week
