About the Role
FH is looking for a Social Designer & Editor to help bring social content to life across multiple clients.
This is an entry-level role for someone who lives on social media, loves making things, and wants to grow into a multi-disciplinary creative: part editor, part designer, part social storyteller. You’ll work closely with senior creatives and social teams to support content production from planning through post, learning how great social content is built from the ground up.
You’ll be learning how to think creatively before content is shot, how to shape footage into narratives, and how to make content feel native to each platform.
What You’ll Do
Support Social Content Production
- Assist in building shot lists, storyboards, and content plans for social-first shoots
- Help prep social teams for on-set success by understanding formats, hooks, and platform needs
- Occasionally assist on set with content capture and production support
Editing & Post-Production
- Edit social content across formats (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Stories)
- Cut b-roll, sizzles, recap videos, and short narrative pieces from raw footage
- Support longer-form or episodic edits under the guidance of senior editors
- Make selects, organize footage, and prep projects for post-production
Design & Graphics
- Apply brand graphics, text, and motion elements to video content
- Work from established brand systems and templates
- Assist in building and updating social graphic templates
- Ensure content feels platform-native while staying on brand
Creative Collaboration & Growth
- Collaborate with social managers, producers, and creatives
- Receive feedback and iterate quickly
- Learn FH’s creative process, social best practices, and production workflows
- Stay tapped into social trends, formats, and storytelling styles
What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years of experience (internships, freelance, personal projects, or content pages count)
- Strong interest in social media, video editing, and design
- Working knowledge of editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, CapCut, Edits etc.)
- Basic design skills (typography, layout, motion fundamentals)
- An eye for pacing, rhythm, and what makes content engaging on social
- Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Comfortable taking direction and excited to grow creatively
Bonus Points
- A strong personal TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube presence as a creator
- Motion graphics or animation basics
- Experience editing short-form social content
- On-set or production assistant experience
