Role Summary: In this role you support the sales and management team by contacting and engaging prospective clients via telephone, email, text, and direct mail to drive demand and help them achieve their monthly goals, by making sure that potential clients who might be interested in our products and services are detailed, scoped, and qualified for the sales team. Then ensure that the sales team is scheduled to meet with the potential client one-on-one or in a group with relevant stake holders.
Ultimately this role works directly with customers, sales, and marketing to co-ordinate appointments for the sales team.
What is entailed and what is the opportunity.
This is a special project being created to provide an opportunity to audition for a role that we expect will lead to a department that supports our franchise owners. Initially this will be a locally based position in our Downtown Pittsburgh office, but will support all Pittsburgh area locations.
Instant Imprints is an emerging franchise system with 50+ locations throughout North America. There are operations in both Canada and the USA. We are establishing a new Studio concept to reach out to high-potential clients in the downtown area, as well as to assist our Flagship locations in Moon and Cranberry.
This role will report directly to the Owners and will work collaboratively with them and the local store Managers to drive new client acquisition and to help set sales appointments for the stores to grow a primarily mid-sized client base.
The successful candidate will actively prospect for new Business clients via email, snail mail, and telephone throughout the assigned areas leveraging and utilizing the company sales system. The week is divided into 4 sales/prospecting days and 1 office/research day. The candidate will be expected to be in the Downtown Pittsburgh office a minimum of three days each week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
The Pre-sales function will contact, connect, and build relationships with the prospective clientele while scoping and qualifying the opportunity with the client, with the intention to help generate a sales meeting/appointment with the franchise location. All sales leads will be available to the incumbent. Success is measured based on successful appointment bookings each week.
Ideally we are looking to audition someone with 1-3 years outbound tele-sales experience in a B2B environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Customer outreach, create awareness, and answer basic questions about our products and services.
2. Ensure and maintain detailed Call logs and notes in the CRM system including those that went unanswered.
3. Organizes workflow and appointment schedules/consultations by routing correspondence between the clients and sales reps.
4. Manages schedules by maintaining calendars for sales department personally and arranging meetings.
5. Attempt to re-connect with prospective clients you were unable to contact.
6. Nurture prospective clients with email content to build trust and relationships.
7. Maintain customer confidence via follow ups to ensure proper information flow.

Compensation: This role will be paid hourly and there will be a bonus for successful qualified appointments booked. As this is a special project, it will be a 6 month contract position with an hourly rate of $20/hr. and a bonus per successful appointment booking, with on-target earnings in excess of $60k annually.
